Management Profile

Dr. Sharad Singhal CEO	Dr. Sharad brings to Eclipse more than 25 years of international experience in Product Management, IT and Marketing Strategies. He started his career with companies like Larsen and Toubro Ltd. He then moved on to AT&T Bell Laboratories, Holmdel NJ (USA) and worked on conceptualizing the design of Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) and documented detailed systems requirements. He led the process of reviewing the systems requirements with the developers at AT&T as well as with other Systems Engineers .The output was a comprehensive specifications document. that provided the basis for AT&T's offering of ISDN to the public. He was part of the Andersen Consulting group, which specialized in improving business operations by optimizing the flow of business processes. His team analyzed the processes of United Van Lines (UVL) and designed an Information Systems solution which would maximize the utilization of UVL trucks and availability of drivers keeping in view the legal restrictions on the working hours of drivers and all other constraints under which the company had to operate. In the year 1990, he founded Eclipse Systems in India. Under his leadership, the company has developed expertise and experience in international software development and management of large projects. Dr. Sharad graduated as B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore with specialization in Operations Research. He did his PhD in Operations Research with minor in information systems from Carnegie-Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA.

Mahendra K. Singhal Director	Mr. M.K.Singhal worked with the Indian Government for over 36 years and retired as the Engineering in Chief in 1989. During this period, he also worked for brief spells as a visiting fellow with the Harvard University, USA and with Firma Hochtief A G, West Germany. He has traveled widely throughout the world and has handled planning and implementation of a large number of major, medium and small size projects. He worked as a consultant with international organizations such as World Bank, UNDP, WAPCOS, and Louis Berger and some Indian companies such as WAPCOS, REDICON, C Patel & Associates. He is with Eclipse Systems right since its inception. He provides valuable guidance and management support to the company with his vast knowledge and experience, . He oversees the company's day-to-day operating activities. Mahendra is the key driver who ensures that we have the infrastructure to implement our initiatives successfully, for the benefit of our clients and employees. He graduated as BE from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration from University of Lucknow and Master Of Engineering from University Of Roorkee. To augment his proficiency, he has also done short courses in IT systems and software programming.
