These documents include JetForm reports, Labels and Tickets, Web Based reports, Invoices etc. These documents helps both the employers and employees in handling the system more efficiently and effectively. Generation of Documents is one of the most important features of DCMS. It facilitates retrieval of data from various databases and presents them in a tabular format. This feature helps in employee performance optimisation. The process of Generating Documents includes printing of JetForm Reports, Labels, and Web-Based reports. JetForm Reports


JetForm is an user-friendly software that acts as an interface between the requirement supervisor and DCMS The documents that are prepared for inventory shipment are printed with the help of JetForms .Jet form reports are mainly required for monitoring the ongoing process of inventory management. Given below is the list of documents that are generated for the lower level management people:

Labels


Labels are designed to uniquely identify each shipment. The format of the Labels is based on the industry specifications and they are pasted on the cartons during the time of delivery.

Labels are printed in two different formats.

UCC stands for Universal Container Code. This code is unique and helps in identifying each shipment uniquely. These labels are printed for the purpose of pasting them on the ready-to-be shipped products. UCC Label is printed for the container (containing load of cartons together) by which the cartons are dispatched.

SMS stands for Short Merchandise Shipments and is printed for those cartons that are to be dispatched separately.

Generating Web Based Reports

Information is the key to success for any enterprise in today's business scenario. How well the information is managed and utilized reflects upon timely decisions, effective management and efficient planning. DCMS provides a comprehensive set of reports detailing all the activities happening in DC/warehouse and their effect on the inventory movement. DCMS also helps to detect bottlenecks in operations, which can increase the overall throughput of the warehouse and aids the management in control., review and planning. These help aids in.

At any given time the exact position of inventory ( age, quantity & quality) can be accessed through the generation of various reports which helps the management to take stock of any situation arising out of any emergency.
Provides complete de facto status of which orders are being shipped and the current stage of processing. Vendor performance report
The performance report of each department provides feedback about efficiency of each department.
Reports about problem areas can aid in identifying the bottlenecks and in the system. For example, the report about Repacked Cartons showing high percentage for a given time period, implies that the cartons are not being carefully packed and Management can track the fault to responsible department.

Monthly Orders Report 

:

shows monthly orders on the basis of delivery date.
Weekly Orders Report    
:
shows the weekly orders on the basis of delivery date.
Weekly Shipping Report 
:
lists orders that have been shipped for any given week. 
Orders Drill Down Report 
:
displays most of the information available in DCMS. Some of the  fields have links through which the user can view further details related to that particular field.
All Open Orders
:
All orders under process.
Ready To Ship               
:
Orders ready for shipping but not yet shipped.
Shipped But Not Uploaded
:
Orders shipped but not yet exported to third party software.
Shipped
:
All orders shipped.
SKUs In A Purchase Order
:
This report shows all the SKUs that have been ordered in the given Purchase Order. It also shows the ordered quantity.
Underage Report
:
Show all the SKUs, which are not being fully shipped, along with their ordered and shortage quantity.
Shipped Orders
:
This report show the orders which are shipped with in a given time period. This does not take into account whether the order was shipped completely or not.

All these reports are based on web based, platform independent architecture making them accessible to all interested and authorized people within and outside the organization. These reports are designed using ASP technology and runs on the DCMS Intranet.
